Kingsgrove Sports Centre is located in Kingsgrove, 179 Kingsgrove Road. Kingsgrove Sports Centre Pty Ltd was founded in1976 by Harold Solomons. He came across a small sports store down an arcade in Kingsgrove. The owners of the store were closing down. He changed the sports store's name to Kingsgrove Sports Centre and so began the story of the now world famous KSC. He soon began to realise the success of the store depended on specialising in one or 2 particular sports, and he decided on Cricket and Soccer. As the shop began to gain popularity Harry was approached by a manufacturer, who needed assistance to promote and market the cricket brand known as Symonds.
