In 1979 the Diana Shoe Company was created by the Kirkhope and Goodman families, producing 150 pairs of shoes a day. By the mid 1980's the company had grown to employ approximately 400 people and was producing 4,000 pairs/day. By the late 80's the company had expanded its brand portfolio which had previously only consisted of the Rivers brand, to include additional ranges Zendrini, Lady Diana, DF Supersoft and Diana Ferrari, and the business soon divided between the two families by men's and women's product with the Kirkhope family retaining Diana Ferrari and the women's business. In 2000 the Diana Ferrari handbag and accessories ranges were introduced. In 2001 we opened our first retail stores. We now boast 15 diana ferrari retail stores, with plans to open more in 2007.
